WE DID IT!! AHH! I really couldn't be more grateful for each and every one of you, thank you for bringing my dream to life! Between Clouds is now a reality, officially funded through Kickstarter to the tune of $57,586. WOW!! We have a long journey ahead of us, from post-funding surveys to beta copies and printing, but our main priority right now is to celebrate how far we've come!
For those who missed the Kickstarter, pre-orders will be available through Backerkit within the next week. I'm not sure when I'll be sending surveys out, but I'll be certain to post an update when I do. Also if you haven't yet, come join the hype train on Discord! Alright y'all, thank you again from the bottom of my heart, I can't wait to see where we go from here. Love you all, cheers! :)

Surprise, I moved up a stretch goal!! We're on the very last leg here, and I wanted to do something to push us just a little further, so I moved the Portrait Generator stretch goal up to 57k. Can we do it? Maybe even hit 60? I selected the Portrait Generator for this last minute shift because I think it'll provide the greatest benefit to the community, and it's something that I personally am interested in making. I'll be floating around the Discord under funding is over, see you on the other side! <3

We've arrived at the final push, and roughly 24 hours remain before Between Clouds is finished funding on Kickstarter! Woop woop! Items exclusive to Kickstarter backers are the Limited Edition rulebook, a name listing, and beta access to the game. Don't miss your chance to grab them! If you have any friends or family members that are interested in the project, now is the time give them a reminder!
Along with this final push we've unlocked our big stretch goal, The Below! I'm really so grateful that we made it this far. Developing The Below as a fully integrated part of the game will create a more complete picture of the world's lore and the everyday dangers of life on Empyrea. Next up is Symbiote variants, a few of which I've detailed towards the bottom of the campaign page. Factions and Nations Unlocked!! Premium Color Printing Available!

Greetings Symbiotes!
How is everyone doing? I took a little bit of off time this weekend and am certainly feeling better for it, you should too! Anyways, we have officially passed our 10th stretch goal and unlocked factions and nations for Between Clouds! I couldn't be more excited to dive into the various cultures that exist across Empyrea and explore all of the ways that life above the clouds has affected them. I think this type of 'hard' worldbuilding will make the game feel less nebulous and more believable too. Now we're in reach of our next stretch goal, the BIG one, The Below!!
Small update, I have learned that swapping between standard and premium color ink is no issue with DriveThruRPG (aside from the increased costs, of course), so I am now offering Premium Color Printing as an add-on for all pledges! I have held the standard quality pages before and they are delightful, but this option is great for those who want a little extra pop to their book's illustrations. Alright, I know this update is coming a little late, but I had some big business decisions to make and some artwork to get done. Finally, I have good news for you all! Firstly, there are a number of new pledges available on the project. Many of you have expressed interested in a Print-on-Demand Coupon for DriveThruRPG as a way to avoid VAT and other egregious, international shipping costs. I've made Print-on- Demand options available for each of the rulebook pledges. This option is ideal for international backers who expect to face fees and VAT upwards of $20, otherwise it will come out to around the same cost as the other international, non-coupon counterparts with shipping included. A Wayfinder pledge has also been made available, in limited quantities, giving backers the option to create and name a notable landmark of the nine of skies! Much of the world of Empyrea remains undefined, this is your chance to help to shape it into something unique!
Secondly, we passed our ninth stretch goal, Kirin Variants! Woop woop!! This happened a few days ago, but I've been sorting things out since then and making the artwork you see above. We're already over half way to the next one, Factions and Nations, and I couldn't be more excited.
